By Aaron Humes: Super Bowl champion safety Ed Reed this morning is joining Minister of Home Affairs and New Growth Industries Kareem Musa on a tour of the Wagner’s Youth Facility at the Kolbe Foundation Central Prison, Hattieville, where he will be sharing his inspirational story with youth.
The tour starts at 10:30 a.m.
Then, Reed and Minister Musa will be traveling through the Peace in the Valley (PIV) community to see for himself the work being done in the Ministry’s multisectoral approach to violence prevention and conflict resolution.
Reed, who played for the Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans, and New York Jets, was one of the best at his position in NFL history, attributed to always being prepared – studying teams’ tendencies and luring them into errors and mistakes.
Now retired, he is putting his mind to work on the issue of violence prevention and youth development.
More on this later on.
