48 new cases of COVID-19 over weekend

By Aaron Humes: The Ministry of Health and Wellness data for the past weekend shows 48 new cases of COVID-19 nationwide and two new deaths reported.

The number of active cases continues to fall, now below 500 at 468 with 127 new recoveries. Just 60 samples are under investigation.

The number of patients hospitalized remains steady and the percentage recovery rate is closing in on 97 percent.

The national positivity rate stands at 8.74 percent.
