Hospitalization figures from COVID-19 steady

By Aaron Humes: The number of persons hospitalized with COVID-19 as of today, Monday, is steady with 11 persons hospitalized.

Seven of these are unvaccinated, one partially vaccinated and two fully vaccinated. The other is of uncertain status.

Meanwhile, four of these 13 hospitalized persons are in intensive care, 3 of whom are unvaccinated and one is fully vaccinated.

Belizeans are reminded to get vaccinated if possible as the vaccinated stand the best chance of recovery from COVID, though it depends on the level of infection and risk factors for non-communicable diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.
