Tensions high at Port of Belize as Belize Defense Force soldiers brought in to unload ship

By Benjamin Flowers: Stevedores at the Port of Belize Limited are outraged this morning as the Port of Belize has reportedly brought in Belize Defense Force soldiers to do their work.

The stevedores say that they have been out since 6:00 a.m. after receiving a tip that the soldiers would be brought in at 7:00.

Currently, they are gathered outside the compound to register their discontent with the decision.
