Security guard robbed of his gun in Belize City

By BBN Staff: An armed Belize City security guard was the victim of armed robbery yesterday.

Police say that 37-year-old Julian bol was at his posting on Regent Street West when two men approached him and one of them held him up with a firearm.

The other man then relieved him of his service weapon, a CZ-75 handgun bearing the serial number 056261, which was loaded with 15 live .9mm rounds.

The men then jumped into a red SUV and drove off in the direction of Vernon Street.

Police are investigating.
