Caesar Ridge host Altitude at MCC Grounds in Belize City on Sunday

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The return of football to different stadiums around the country brings the first topflight match to the MCC Grounds in more than two years as Caesar Ridge FC host FFB Top League subchampions Altitude FC on Sunday, February 13.

The match is slated to play at 3:30 pm at one of the oldest football pitches in the country.

Caesar Ridge had a rough Opening Championship, but though they lost the first game of the Closing Championship they look better than last season. They fell 1-0 to the San Pedro Pirates last weekend in what was the tightest game of the opening weekend.

Altitude, on the other hand, had a rather satisfactory opening tournament finishing behind champs Verdes. They already started off on a good foot winning their first match 2-0 over Garden City last Saturday night.

Rene Leslie and Colombian Andrés Orozco are looking for more goals along with veteran Ashly Torres.

Elsewhere, Wagiya are hosting the San Pedro Pirates at the FFB Stadium on Saturday night and Garden City are doing the same against Verdes at the FFB Stadium on Sunday.
