Belize Weather: Week’s weather starts mainly fair

Mainly fair weather continues according to the National Meteorological Service.

The 24-hour forecast calls for mostly sunny skies today and partly cloudy skies tonight, with showers isolated except on the southern coast.

High temperatures today range from 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast to 88 degrees inland and 75 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 75 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 70 degrees inland and 64 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at 10 to 20 knots and sea state is moderate with wave heights reaching four to six feet.

Tides are low at 7:04 this morning and 7:57 this evening and high at 12:56 this afternoon. Sunset occurs at 5:56 this evening and rises at 6:16 Tuesday morning.

Similar weather conditions are expected to continue through Tuesday.
