By BBN Staff: A Lemonal Villager has managed to survive a machete attack by his own cousin over the weekend.
Thirty-five-year-old Willham Bull was admitted to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital with chop wounds to the body, after an altercation with Ryan Sutherland.
Bull told police that he had arrived home in Lemonal around 6:40 p.m. to find Sutherland in his yard removing a turtle shell. He told Sutherland to leave but he refused and the men began to argue. Sutherland then pulled a machete and chopped Bull to the body.
Bull was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial hospital where he was treated and later released. Meanwhile, Sutherland remains detained by police pending charges.
