By BBN Staff: Gunshots rang out in Belize City moments ago.

Residents in the vicinity of Nurse Finley Crescent in Port Loyola confirm that as much as eight shots were fired.

Officers currently have a corner of Nurse Finely Crescent blocked off and mobile patrols are also on T Street with officers performing checks.

Details on any injuries following the incident are still forthcoming and it is not yet known if anyone was injured.
