Vice-President of Liberia thanks hosts and Mayor ‘Sharon’ Palacio for welcome

By Aaron Humes: The Vice-President of the Republic of Liberia, Dr. Jewel Howard-Taylor, has issued her thanks to her hosts at the forthcoming She4She Women Leaders Summit being held in Belize City.

Specifically, she thanked Mayor of Belmopan Sharon Palacio for her “statesmanship,” adding, “As Leaders of our World, each of us must work together for the growth and development of our World.”

Dr. Taylor also thanked Leader of the Opposition Moses “Shyne” Barrow for meeting with her on her arrival and announced that he “has been invited to visit Liberia as the 2022 Commencement Speaker of the University of Liberia.” This historic invitation comes at an opportune time when Belize seeks to establish its lost connection between African and Caribbean countries.

The Summit will be held at the Biltmore from tomorrow, Friday, and will end on Sunday.
