23 new COVID-19 cases countrywide as active numbers dip below three hundred

By Aaron Humes: Belize reports a total of 297 active cases of COVID-19 according to data issued this evening by the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

Twenty-three new cases were reported countrywide while 35 persons were reported recovered. There are another 146 samples under investigation.

Two persons remain hospitalized with symptoms of the disease and no new deaths have been reported.
Overall, Belize, with tomorrow, Wednesday, marking the second anniversary of the arrival of the pandemic, has recorded a total of 57,191 cases, of which 98.3 percent or 56,194 have recovered and 654 have died.
