Belize Weather: Easter weekend starts with perfect weather

Seasonally warm and dry weather prevails according to the National Meteorological Service.

Skies today will be mostly sunny and tonight partly cloudy to clear. Except for a chance isolated thunderstorm developing over the mountains, little or no rainfall is expected.

High temperatures today peak at 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 95 degrees over inland areas; and 84 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 80 degrees along the coast; 74 degrees inland; and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at 10 to 20 knots and sea state is moderate with waves of four to six feet.

Tides will be high at 8:32 this morning and 8:53 this evening and low at 2:45 this afternoon. The sun sets at eight minutes past six this evening and rises at 5:37 Good Friday morning.

Similar weather conditions can be expected for Good Friday.
