Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing teams up with Belize City Council to repair streets

By Benjamin Flowers: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) has teamed up with Belize City Council to repair streets on the south side of Belize City.

The MIDH has dispatched crews to assist with the repairs of streets in Lake Independence and other areas that will benefit communities that need the support.

“Yes, we’re helping out our colleagues at the Belize City Council, but more importantly we’re making living conditions better for the residents of Lake Independence. That’s the most important thing,” the Ministry said.

The MIDH also noted that two areas in Belama are also benefiting from these repaired streets, and went on to say that those areas have been suffering from years of neglect.

The assistance to the Belize City Council runs in tandem with all the other major street and road upgrades the MIDH is carrying out countrywide.
