Hopkins Farmers Cooperative gets greenhouse from Ministry of Agriculture

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Hopkins Farmers Cooperative received a greenhouse from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise (MAFSE) on Wednesday.

The Agriculture Ministry said the Hopkins Farmers Cooperative is one of eleven greenhouse beneficiaries under the UNDP-GEF-SGP/BEST Cooperatives Rapid Response to COVID19 and 2020 Floods in Belize Project.

The green house was set up on site in Hopkins by Agrovet Jiron. The Santa Elena-based company was contracted for the construction through a tendering process, said MAFSE.
