Nurses countrywide are celebrating Nurses’ Week as of Friday, May 6

“Nurses’ Week started today with celebration of appreciation and similar activities held across the country in honor of nurses,” said the Ministry of Health and Wellness in a social media post.

“We are celebrating today up until May 12 on International Nurses Day.”

Nurses countrywide are celebrating Nurses Week with the theme “Nurse, a Voice To Lead, Invest in Nursing and Respect Rights to Secure Global Health”.

To mark the occasion, nurses at the Southern Regional Hospital in Dangriga had a brief ceremony today at the SRH Compound.

“Take time out to show appreciation to all our nurses,” said the Ministry of Health and Wellness
