Galen University reaches out to students in San Pedro on Friday

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Galen University continues its recruitment drive by reaching out to students in San Pedro this coming Friday, May 20.

If you’re interested in continuing your education, check out what Galen University has to offer you at the Galen University Pop-up Booth at popular night-spot Losers at Boca del Rio Drive in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday.

“Our deans of faculty will be available to answer questions from prospective students. We will be sharing information on Galen University, our programs, scholarships, and financial options,” said Deanna Peyrefitte, Director of Marketing and Admissions.

“Stop by our booth on Friday, May 20. Come Soar with the Galen Eagles.”

Peyrefitte said the Pop-up at San Pedro aims to make students coming out of high school and junior college or those who want to continue their education aware of what Galen University has to offer them.

Galen is particularly proud of its online programs.

“We have a successful online platform,” said Peyrefitte.

“Depending on what they sign up for they can do their program completely online. If you’re taking anything on the Education platform, that is completely online. There are certain other programs under the Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship that are completely online as well.”

Peyrefitte said that Galen University is visiting San Pedro and other areas of the country where there are more potential students. Last week Galen did an outreach in southern Belize. At the end of the month, Galen will be at the National Agriculture and Trade Show in Belmopan and in early June at the Made in Belize Expo in Belize City.
