By BBN Staff: A security guard of Ladyville Village, Belize district reported to police that he was robbed of his .38 revolver, ammunition, and other valuables around 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
According to the security guard, he was riding his bicycle on Marage Road making his way to work when he was approached by a man dressed in full camouflage with a black T-shirt tied around his face. The man allegedly pointed a .38 revolver at him and made him lay on the ground.
The security guard was then robbed of his .38 revolver; 10 rounds of .38 ammunition; a phone; $265 in cash; and his wallet with IDs for a total value of $765. The man then escaped.
Police are investigating.
