By Aaron Humes: The Ministry of Health and Wellness reports 223 new cases of COVID-19 countrywide in the last 24 hours.
Active cases are at 1,011 and five persons have been hospitalized.
The Belize District reported 74 new cases including 55 in Belize City. The Cayo District reported 52 new cases including 20 in the Twin Towns and eight in Belmopan.

There were 45 new cases between the northern districts of Corozal and Orange Walk and 50 cases in the southern districts, including 13 in Punta Gorda and 11 in Orange Walk Town.
