Police charge recaptured Damion Saldana for Benjamin Hyde murder

By Aaron Humes: Police have announced the arrest of 21-year-old Damion Saldano for the murder of Benjamin Hyde on Father’s Day, June 19, in Belize City.

Saldano, a stevedore, has also been charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder. He joins Shedraud Nunez and Azzane Domingo.

Saldano had initially been detained and then released after Police determined they needed to further investigate him in connection with the murder of Hyde, but could not hold him beyond the statutory time of detention.
