Body found in Toledo believed to be that of missing man

Posted: Monday, August 29, 2022. 6:36 pm CST.

By Benjamin Flowers: Police discovered a decomposed body in the Toledo district today, and suspicions are that it may be that of Carlos Aldana, who was reported missing back in April.

Police say that they received a call around 2:36 p.m. from a man who went hunting with his three sons.

The group had gone about a mile west of Yemeri Grove Village, when their hunting dogs started digging near a tree that had some water around it. Upon further investigation, the group saw what appeared to be human flesh and called the police.

The badly decomposed body was unearthed and sent to the National Forensic Science Service for analysis.
