San Pedro teen says her uncle raped her when she was only six years old

By Benjamin Flowers: A teenage girl from San Pedro Town, has opened up about an alleged case of sexual abuse in her family.

The 13-year-old minor, in the company of her mother, told police that back in 2015, the family was in the Corozal district and her uncle touched her inappropriately. Later that same year, the uncle would go on to have sexual relations with her, twice.

She was six years old at the time.

Following the report, police have launched an investigation.
