Soca fans get ready: Kes the Band and Nadia Baston arrive in Belize

By Benjamin Flowers: Renowned soca artists Nadia Baston and Kes the Band arrived in Belize today, in preparation for a major concert in the coming week.

The artists arrived via the Philip Goldson International Airport this afternoon.

Baston, a Trinidadian singer known for the hit song “Jelly”, along with Kes the Band, known for songs such as “Endless Summer” and “Hello” are scheduled to perform at the 8th Annual Soca and Culture Festival on September 20th at the Marion Jones Stadium in Belize City.

Their performance will add to a growing number of renowned artists that have performed in Belize this year, such as Christopher Martin, Patrice Roberts and Luciano.
