Man chopped to the head in Belize City; rushed to the hospital for treatment

By Benjamin Flowers: A man was chopped in Belize City earlier today.

Reports are that the unidentified male victim was on Lovely Lane when someone chopped him to the head.

The victim survived the encounter and was rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.

His condition is unknown at this time.

Police are investigating.
