By Breaking Belize News Staff: Mainly fair conditions prevail according to the National Meteorological Service.
Today’s forecast is for mostly sunny skies and isolated showers, with a chance for isolated thunderstorms developing. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy with slightly more showers over the south.
High temperatures reach 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 93 degrees in inland areas and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 82 degrees along the coast, 75 degrees over inland areas and 68 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly to southeasterly at 10 to 20 knots. The sea will be light chop to choppy with waves of two to five feet. A flood warning remains in effect for communities along major rivers countrywide.
Tides will be high at 11:48 this morning and 11:07 tonight and low at 5:20 this evening. The sun sets at 5:32 this evening and rises at a quarter to six Thursday morning.
Mainly fair conditions are expected to continue through Thursday with isolated showers or thunderstorms except for the south on Thursday night.
