Belizean murdered in Cancun, Mexico

By BBN Staff: A Belizean known as “El Beliceño” was executed on Monday morning in Villas del Mar, Cancun, Mexico, Quinto Poder reports.

Local media reports that Orange Walk native, Luis Leiva was arriving at his house when 2 gunmen on a motorcycle approached and fired several shots at him.

Leiva reportedly entered his home but the culprits pursued him and fired more shots in his backyard.

The victim had previously suffered armed attacks, Mexican authorities say.
