Belize Weather: Fair weather prevailing to start the weekend

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies with some cloudy spells and generally isolated showers or thunderstorms except in the south. Similar weather conditions should be expected under partly cloudy skies tonight.

High temperatures peak at 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 92 degrees inland and 81 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 78 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly at five to 15 knots. Seas will be light chop with waves of two to four feet.

Tides will be high at 7:55 this morning and 8:01 this evening and low at 1:57 this afternoon. The sun sets at 5:19 this evening and rises at 5:53 Sunday morning.

The outlook for Sunday is continued mainly fair conditions with only isolated showers developing.
