U.S. Southcom provides bags and school supplies for 125 students in Belize City

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On Wednesday, November 9, 2022, the United States, through the U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) Humanitarian Assistance Program gifted backpacks and school supplies to 125 students at the Stella Maris School in Belize City.

“This longstanding partnership between the United States and Belize demonstrates the U.S. #enduringpromise to advancing security and economic prosperity for the people of the Jewel – and by providing students with essential educational support, we are helping them build a brighter future for themselves and for Belize,” the U.S. Embassy in Belize noted.

U.S. Southcom continues to support Belize through its Humanitarian Assistance program.
