California love: Inglewood, California to become sister city to San Ignacio/Santa Elena

By Aaron Humes: Leader of the Opposition Moses “Shyne” Barrow continues his quest to promote Belize with a recent visit to the city of Inglewood, California.

Barrow and United Democratic Party (UDP) Chairman Michael Peyrefitte met with the Mayor of Inglewood, James Butts. Inglewood is home to the largest population of Belizeans in the U.S. Diaspora and the city will now partner with San Ignacio/Santa Elena Towns.

Expected areas of cooperation include but are not limited to trade, commerce, culture, education and citizen security. Municipality to municipality, cities and towns exchange information and ideas in order to develop friendships, deepen cultural understanding and strengthen democracy and freedom.
