Belize Weather: Showers pop back up

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service notes an increase in moisture in the airflow for the coming day. Skies today will be sunny with cloudy spells and cloudy at times tonight. Showers or thunderstorms in the daytime will be generally isolated, but there will be a few mostly over the coast this evening.

High temperatures sit at 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 91 degrees over inland areas and 80 degrees in the hills. Temperatures tonight range from 79 degrees along the coast to 72 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly at five to 15 knots. Seas will be light chop.

Tides will be high at 12:26 this afternoon and 11:19 this evening and low at 5:07 this evening. The sun sets at 5:15 this evening and rises at 6:03 Sunday morning.

Skies will be partly cloudy on Sunday with isolated showers and thunderstorms before becoming cloudy at times in the night with showers or thunderstorms mainly over the south.
