By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise recognized Belize High School of Agriculture for their efforts by reposting a post by the high school on their sale of sweet peppers.

“We re-post to support the Belize High School of Agriculture, an agricultural school in San Lazaro/Trinidad Village, Orange Walk District,” MAFSE said.

“We applaud their efforts to grow vegetables and create income generating opportunities for students. It’s the way we must educate our children, letting them practice agriculture and marketing.

“Kudos to their new principal Mr. Abel Celiz and the teachers there for pumping new energy into the lifeblood of the school. Time to shine now!” MAFSE said.

The Belize High School of Agriculture, doing justice to its name, has a very good agricultural program.
