Security guards posted at courthouse reportedly on strike again

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Our newsroom has been informed that the security guards employed by Security Oriented Services (SOS) Limited that are usually posted at the courthouse in Belize City are on strike.

All areas at the courthouse with the section of one that usually has security guards posted notably had no guards this morning. This coincided with an increase in police presence at the courthouse.

Notably, the staff took similar action in October, over unpaid salaries. Breaking Belize News has reached out to the owner of SOS but has been unsuccessful in getting a response.
