Fifteen-year-old girl escapes from Human Services Department; authorities need help finding her

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for 15-year-old Kityia Perteau, who is currently on the run.

Reports are that Preteau ran away from her case officer while at the Department of Human Services office on Regent Street, Belize City, on Monday.

Perreault is described as being of dark complexion, standing about 5 feet 7 inches tall with braided hair that has black beads at the end. She was last seen wearing a white polo shirt, long khaki pants, and black shoes.

Anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts is urged to report it to police by calling 911 or 922.
