International News: Police in Spain arrest one of FBI’s most wanted fugitives

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, police in Spain detained one of the most sought fugitives by the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Reuters report.

Michael James Pratt, a citizen of New Zealand was listed on the FBI’s ten most wanted fugitives for charges for child pornography, sexual exploitation and sexual assault in the United States.

U.S. authorities say that Pratt was involved in the audiovisual production of pornography and recruited underage girls and women through deception.

Officials in Spain say this is the first time one of the most wanted fugitives from the U.S. was detained in the nation.

Pratt would place online advertisements offering “modelling” jobs, which turned out to be pornographic recordings.
