Police Commissioner wishes all Belizeans a Merry Christmas

By Benjamin Flowers: Commissioner of Police Chester Williams is wishing all Belizeans a Merry Christmas.

Williams issued a Christmas Message via the Police Department’s Media Relations Unit, urging all Belizeans to be safe and exercise caution during the Christmas season.

“…Pay attention to [your] surroundings when shopping and going to a vehicle whether day or night. If shopping with children, hold their hands and keep them in sight at all times. If shopping after dark, park in a well-lit location. Do not leave any valuables or packages in the vehicle where they can be seen.

Williams also said that those using an ATM should scan their surroundings first to know what is going on in their surroundings and that those leaving for the holidays should find someone trusted to look after their property in their absence.

Williams also took a special interest in those traveling on the roads cautioning them to “Don’t drink and drive. Buckle up and drive.”
