By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Cristiano Ronaldo and long-time archrival Lionel Messi could face each other in a Paris Saint Germain (PSG) friendly against a Saudi Arabian mixed team made up of Cristiano’s new club Al Nassr and Asian Champions League winners Al Hilal.

The match, which is scheduled for January 19, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, would be the 37-year-old forward’s first game since his move to Al Nassr which was announced last week.

PSG announced the game on Monday saying it will be part of a two-day visit to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the home of their sponsors.

Al Nassr’s coach Rudi Garcia said Cristiano would make his Saudi Arabia debut against PSG before his first game in the Al Nassr jersey on January 22, according to British newspaper The Guardian.

Cristiano hasn’t been able to play for Al Nassr yet due to a two-game suspension by the English Football Association for slapping a phone out of a young fan’s hand last April after a game against Everton.

Cristiano is expected to make his debut for Al Nassr on January 22 against Al Ettifaq.

Cristiano and Messi have had a long football rivalry, particularly when both played in Spain for Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively.
