Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology sign cultural cooperation agreement with Cuba

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On Sunday, February 12, 2023, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology of Belize signed a Cultural Cooperation Agreement with Cuba.

The agreement was signed byFrancis Fonseca, Minister of Culture, and Bruno Rodríguez Parilla, Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs on behalf of the Ministry of Culture of Cuba.

“The historic visit by #Cuban President, Miguel Diaz-Canel y Bermudez strengthens the ties of friendship, cooperation, and solidarity between the peoples of our two countries,” the Ministry noted.

The Ministry of Education expressed its gratitude “for the unfaltering commitment and support of the Government and People of the Republic of Cuba in areas of education and culture.”

“We look forward to building on our relationship in an effort to collectively advance the prosperity and development of our people,” the Ministry added.
