Taiwan and US Ambassadors discuss future partnership to support Belize

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On February 16, 2023, Taiwan Ambassador David Kuan-Chou Chien met US Ambassador, Michelle Kwan and Andie De Arment, Political and Economic Chief, to bid farewell as he nears the end of his tour of duty.

Ambassador Kwan and Ambassador Chien exchanged viewpoints on future partnership between Belize, the United States and Taiwan to benefit Belize.

 The Ambassadors pledged to work together with the Government of Belize to strengthen the three-party cooperation.

“As United States and Taiwan share the rock-solid partnership based on the shared values of democracy, freedom and human rights, the Embassy once again would like to extend its appreciation to the US Embassy in Belize for its support and friendship,” the Taiwan Embassy said.
