Belize Weather: Fair weather continues

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Fair, warm and gusty conditions prevail according to the National Meteorological Service. The forecast is mostly sunny skies today and clear to partly cloudy skies tonight. Showers will be brief and isolated this morning, and then little or no rain is expected for tonight.

High temperatures range from 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast to 94 degrees over inland areas and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight, temperatures fall to 79 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly at 10 to 20 knots and sea state is moderate to rough. Small craft caution remains in effect for gusty winds and occasionally rough seas.

Tides are high as of 8:22 a.m. A low tide occurs at 2:04 this afternoon followed by a high tide at 8:07 this evening. The sun sets at 6:07 this evening and rises at 5:47 Monday morning.

Outlook for Monday is for generally fair weather, gusty winds and warm conditions will continue with little or no rain expected.
