Ministry of Health and Wellness to hold Wellness Fair in Port Loyola, Belize City, on Wednesday, April 26

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Health and Wellness will be holding a Wellness Fair in Port Loyola here in Belize City on Wednesday, April 26. The Port Loyola Wellness Fair will be held at the Wilton Cumberbatch Field at the corner of Faber’s Road and Caesar Ridge Road from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

According to the MOHW, the Wellness Fair will include free HIV testing, free pressure and glucose checks, free pap smear test and woman’s health check, children and adult vaccines will be administered, and they’ll also do height and weight checks.

Additionally, they’ll conduct free doctor consultation and medicines, First Aid support and Mental Health, dental screening and health education, and will provide drug abuse information and child, youth and family health information. They’ll also be providing community police support.

The Port Loyola Wellness Fair is being conducted in connection with Vaccination Week in the Americas.
