By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, Minister of Sustainable Development, Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management, Orlando Habet and Minister of Rural Transformation, Community Development, Labour and Local Government, Oscar Requena inaugurated a new water system in Santa Familia, Cayo.

The project was funded through a program to build climate change resilience in western Belize.

The project is being implemented by the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Climate Change, and Disaster Risk Management in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

Through the project, a mile of drainage was also completed and two culverts were installed in Los Tambos Village.
