Belize Weather: A fine Labour Day Monday

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts fine weather on this Labour Day holiday Monday, as relatively dry conditions prevail and skies are sunny with a few cloudy spells and showers light and isolated. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy.

High temperatures peak at 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 92 degrees over inland areas; and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight, temperatures fall to 79 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees over inland areas and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to northeasterly at five to 15 knots and sea state is choppy.

Tides will be high at 7:23 this morning and 7:37 this evening and low at 1:43 this afternoon. The sun sets at 6:13 this evening and rises at 5:26 Tuesday morning.

The weather will be mainly fair and dry on Tuesday before isolated showers affect southern areas Tuesday night.
