Taiwan Embassy congratulates Ministry of Agriculture on successful Agric 2023!

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Over the weekend, visitors from around the country attended the National Agriculture and Trade Show 2023.

This year’s show had a 7% increase compared to last year’s, as it welcomed over 34,270 visitors, regional delegates, and guests.

The Taiwan Embassy in Belize congratulated the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise on a successful Agric 2023.

“The Embassy is proud to see the booth set up by the Taiwan Technical Mission to showcase the work and achievements of the bilateral cooperation projects between Taiwan and Belize,” the Taiwan Embassy noted.

Taiwan Ambassador to Belize, Lily Li-Wen Hsu and Minister Jose Abelardo Mai also handed over 4 breeding sheep from the Breeding Sheep and Goat Project to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food in Guatemala in an effort to help improve the existing genetic stock.
