By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise (MAFSE) drive to improve Belize cattle herd continues. MAFSE, along with the Belize Livestock Producers Association, have been exploring several ways of making the livestock both for local consumption and export better, and one of those is artificial insemination. To that end, an artificial insemination workshop was held on Friday.

“40 farmers and technicians from the Belize Livestock Producers Association and Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise are attending a workshop on Artificial Insemination at the Yo Creek Agriculture Station in Orange Walk,” the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise (MAFSE) said in a social media post.

According to MAFSE, the workshop included both a theory and a practical session.
