The Ministry of Health and Wellness is celebrating nurses countrywide this week.

Nurses Week is being held under the theme, “Our Nurses, Our Future.”

Health regions countrywide will participate in activities to celebrate and thank nurses.

“Our nurses are the engine of the health system, without them the health system cannot achieve Universal Health Coverage and the Sustainable Development Goals,” said Lizet Bell, Chief Nursing Officer.
