Kevin Bernard Orange Walk Mundialito kicks off on Saturday in Orange Walk

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Kevin Bernard Orange Walk Mundialito tournament, organized by Wilson ‘Chato’ Perez, president of the New Horizon Sporting Club, starts at 8:30 in the morning with a parade from the Orange Walk Central Park to the Louisiana Football Field.

The parade will be accompanied by the Escuela Secundaria Técnica México’s Ambassadors Marching Band.

Nine teams are participating in the competition which starts on Sunday afterooon. Germany of Orange Walk Central open against Japan of San Estevan at 1:00 pm.

That match will be followed by the 2:15 pm encounter between Croatia of San Lazaro and Brazil of Chunox.

The third match will feature Colombia of Louisiana Area vs Argentina of Yo Creek at 3:30 pm.

That sets up the final game between Mexico of Chan Pine Ridge and USA of Trinidad at 4:45 pm.
