By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Belize Tourism Board (BTB)’s Civic pride campaign continues to gain momentum throughout Belize.

On June 7, 2023, the BTB made a presentation on Civic Pride to students of the Ocean Academy in Caye Caulker Village.

The BTB team was joined by BTB’s Sustainable Tourism Ambassador and Miss Earth 2021, Destiny Wagner.

Devon Gabourel, from the Turneffe Atoll Sustainability Association (TASA) also accompanied the team.

The presentation was interactive, well-received, and it came on the eve of Belize joining many countries in the celebration of World Oceans Day on June 8.
