Belize Judiciary receives US $600,000 donation to improve justice system

By Breaking Belize News Staff: On June 5th, a donation of equipment valued at US $600,000 consisting of security cameras, computers, laptops, and furniture, including desks and chairs, law books and other legal materials was presented to the Belize Judiciary.

The donation was made to the Belize courts through the ‘The Improved Access to Justice Project’ (Impact Justice Project). This donation was received by the Chief Justice Honorable Madame Louise Esther Blenman, the Senior Courts of Belize, the Family Courts of Belize and the Magistracy. The equipment’s purpose is to aid and add to the success and coherence of the justice system while guaranteeing access to justice.

The Chief Justice thanked to ‘The Improved Access to Justice Project’ (Impact Justice Project) under the superb leadership of Professor Velma Newton for their steadfast support.
