By Aaron Humes: A father and two of his sons each pleaded guilty in court to beating up and wounding a fellow taxi driver following a brawl in the city center last week.
Gerald Lewis, 62; Keane Lewis, 25; and Joshua Lewis, 36, admitted to intentionally and unlawfully wounding Ladyville based operator Wilson Galvez on Friday.
Each man was fined $300 and cost of court due by September 29, in default two months in prison.
Galvez told police that he was buying at a store across from the Caribbean Sprinter water taxi outlet on North Front Street when Gerald Lewis started to threaten him, saying he would beat up and kill him.
That’s when according to Galvez, Lewis punched him to the left side of his face and his two sons Keanu and Joshua arrived at the scene and joined in attacking Galvez.
