International News: Wildfires in Yellowknife, Canada force 20,000 residents to evacuate

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: More than 20,000 residents of Yellowknife in Canada have been urged to evacuate as soon as possible.

According to the BBC, fires are threatening several communities including Hay River.

A state of emergency has been declared as firefighters continue to battle the blaze.

Residents have begun leaving as authorities warned to leave immediately and avoid putting themselves and others at risk.
