Shane Bradley, 23, is arraigned for the attempted murder of Oliver Ramirez

By Aaron Humes: Lakeview Street resident Shane Bradley, 23, appeared before Chief Magistrate Jayani Wegodapola on charges of attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm and dangerous harm upon Oliver Ramirez.

Bradley is accused of shooting Ramirez on Sunday night on Cumberbatch Street and sending him to hospital.

No plea was taken; due to the nature of the offense, bail was denied and Bradley was remanded into custody at the Belize Central Prison until October 17.

Ramirez was shot in the abdomen and grazed in the forehead, allegedly because of a domestic entanglement with Bradley, the current boyfriend of his former partner.
